The Empty Waste
Each player can choose one trait that may be chosen from any of the books. The only requirement for the trait is that it fit in seamlessly with your character’s background. If you do not find a trait you would like that will fit into your character’s background, please feel free to adjust the description of the trait so that it logically fits in with the background. For these purposes, anything you can think of that is balanced and fits into your character’s background is okay.
E.g.; A player wants his monk, who has traveled a lot throughout his life, to have survival as a class skill. Although there is a trait that provided this, it may not fit into the character’s background. Instead, the player can design a new trait that provides survival as a class skill as detailed below.
Wanderlust: All that wander are not lost. You however, have been lost many times while wandering throughout the lands. In so doing, you have learned how to live off the land and navigate in it. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Survival, and it is always a class skill for you.
